Movie: Battlefield Earth, Warner Brothers, 2000, starring John Travolta ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This one has a bad reputation, but I found it to be better than watching an episode of Stargate on TV. Travolta's performance is mostly ridiculous, but the others are not so bad. The main thing I had fault with was that the "primitive" humans learn how to fly the planes real quick. I know I couldn't get a plane off the ground, let alone go into combat with experienced pilots. This kind of thing is ripe for parody. If you've experienced LRon Hubbub's work before, you will recognize his simplistic philosophical view of the universe.
