Disclaimer: Even though some preachers use his e-forwards in their sermons, George Carlin is not on the recommended list for church people. His vocabulary is raw, and he hates Christians. On the other hand....

George Carlin seems like a person you would like to talk to over the back yard fence. Funny and sensible, sort of. But I really would challenge him on the idea that humans are worse than animals. All of those activities are done by animals, too. Cats torture their prey. Dogs [go after] living and non living things. Fish eat their young. Birds take over other nests. In the end, Carlin says we are beastial--which contradicts his own premise.

But it's all good, in the service of comedy. And it is sadly, true.
