Movie: Grand Hotel, 1931/32.starring the Barrymores and Joan Crawford (young!)---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It came on PBS when I was going to watch a video, and I couldn't turn away. Why don't they make a remake of this movie? My question was answered by an internet review that refered to its "hellish spawn", Love Boat and Fantasy Island. Still, it's mesmerizing. Don't we all really want to live at Grand Hotel?
